Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of CrossRow. By using the Service, you agree to them.

Effective 14 July 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and CrossRow (“CrossRow,” “we,” “us”) governing your access to and use of the CrossRow website and application (the “Service”). If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

1. The Service

CrossRow generates synthetic data from schemas and descriptions you provide, verifies it, and makes the output available to you. The Service is provided on an ongoing basis and may change over time as we add, remove, or modify features.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

4. Your content and your data

You retain all rights to the schemas, descriptions, and other materials you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate the Service and generate your output. As between you and us, you own the synthetic datasets the Service generates for you, and you are free to use them for any lawful purpose.

5. Nature of synthetic data

Synthetic data produced by the Service is artificially generated. While CrossRow is designed to make it structurally correct and statistically realistic, and provides quality scores to that end, the output is provided for your evaluation and use at your discretion. Synthetic data is not a substitute for your own testing, validation, or legal and regulatory compliance review, and quality scores are informational, not a guarantee of fitness for any particular purpose. You are responsible for how you use the output.

6. Fees

Some features of the Service may require a paid plan. Where fees apply, they will be described at the point of purchase. This section applies only if and when paid plans are offered to you.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the output will meet your requirements.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrossRow will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you have paid nothing.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold CrossRow harmless from claims arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless a different arrangement is required by applicable law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
